Built by Douglas as DC-2-112 with Constructor's Number 1292. Operated by Eastern Airlines as NC13782.

Wartime History
Impressed into service with the RAAF on February 3, 1941.

Post-War
Issued to the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in 1946.

Located at Essendon Airport for restoration in 1982. Displayed at Tyabb Airport in 2004.

Donated to the Moorabbin Air Museum in 2005.

Display
As of 2014, the aircraft is located at the Moorabbin Air Museum painted in the markings of DC-2 "Uiver" PH-AJU.
