Assigned to the 5th Air Force, 433rd Troop Carrier Group, 69th Troop Carrier Squadron. Australian call sign VH-CDZ. Squadron Number 60 (Buzz Number 60) painted on the left and right sides of the cockpit.
Nicknamed "Polly" in white on both sides of the nose. During early 1943, this C-47 operated from 5 Mile Drome (Ward) near Port Moresby.
On June 13, 1944 suffered a mid-air collision with C-47A 42-92028 near Dumpu, no injuries were sustained aboard. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
