Built by Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC). Assigned to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), serial number unknown. Possibly, this aircraft was Boomerang A46-53 that ground looped January 10, 1944.
Abandoned at Vivigani Airfield on Goodenough Island.
Until 1999, Boomerang wings remained in situ. The wings did not have any markings linking them to a specific aircraft.
During 1999, this Boomerang was salvaged by Robert Greinert / HARS and shipped to Sydney where it was placed into storage. Location today unknown.
