Crashed  August 30, 1943

Mission History
One of six Beaufighters from 31 Squadron that attacked Taberfane Seaplane Base. Last seen 4 miles west of Erstein village on Trangan Island flying at treetop height with two A6M2-N Rufes flying 150 yards behind it.

Wreckage
Remains of aircraft and crew members located in 1946 by a RAAF Searcher Party led by F/Lt O'Shea. Both crew members are now buried in a joint grave at Ambon War Cemetery.
