Built by North American Aviation as a B-25C Mitchell. Assigned to the U. S. Army with serial number 41-12933. Ferried overseas via Hawaii to Australia.

Wartime History
Delivered to the Netherlands East Indies Air Force (NEIAF) as serial number N5-136. Assigned to No. 18 Squadron. No known nickname or nose art.

Mission History
On October 7, 1943 took off from Batchelor Field near Darwin at 06:24am and flew to Drysdale Airfield landing at 08:15am in prepairation for operation "NEI 6". Afterwards, Ttook off from Drysdale Airfield on a search mission and failed to return. When this B-25 failed to returm the entire crew was listed as Missing In Action (MIA).
