Built by Douglas as a B-18A, constructors number 2505. Later, converted to a B-18B.
Postwar
Registered as
N67947, tail code XB-JAJ. During October 1969, stored engineless at Ensenada, Baja California. Acquired by Tucson Air Museum Foundation of Tucson, AZ and stored at Watsonville, CA and registered as N18AC.Next, to Pima County Air Museum during 1973.
Display
In 1981, flown to the McChord Air Museum at McChord Air Force Base in Washington. Since 1983, displayed at the museum, painted with tail code "7 NB".
Currently under restoration on Wednesdays by crew chief Chuck Bowen and a volunteer restoration crew of nine.
