Ferried from California to Hickam Field. Wartime History Assigned to the 11th Bombardment Group (11th BG), 98th Bombardment Squadron (98th BS). Nicknamed "Typhoon McGoon". Afterwards, flown across the Pacific to the South Pacific (SOPAC). Mission History On September 13, 1942 this B-17 was lost due to unknown circumstances.
