Aircraft History
Built by Boeing at Seattle. Delivered to the U. S. Army at Lowy on March 5, 1942. On April 11, 1942 flown to Sacramento Air Depot. On April 16, 1942 flown to Hickam Field and assigned to the 7th Air Force.

Wartime History
Ferried across the Pacific arriving in Australia on April 22, 1942 this aircraft plus B-17E 41-2437 and B-17E 41-2652. In Australia, assigned to the 5th Air Force, 19th Bombardment Group.

On December 27, 1942 flown to Nadi Airfield. Assigned to the 13th Air Force, unit assignment unknown.

This B-17 was flown back to the United States. On September 10, 1945 placed into storage at Altus AFB. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
