Aerial view of B-17F "The Stingaree No. 2" 41-24550 ditched into Bootless Bay
The tail section with "124550" is broken off from the fuselage with the rudder and control surface fabric missing. The bomber wreckage has parts cut out or salvaged including the top turret. At the lower right is the shadow of the liaison plane taking the photograph.
