Aircraft History Built by Boeing as model B75N1 during 1942. Manufacture Number 75-6707. Delivered to the U.S. Navy (USN) as N2S-3 Stearman Bureau Number 07103. Wartime History On December 15, 1942 took off piloted by George H. W. Bush on his first solo flight during his primary flight training. Restoration This aircraft is owned by Robert Meyland in Orlando, Florida. Restored to airworthy status and registered in the United States as N5102N on January 10, 1989. Painted in U.S. Navy 1942 markings overall yellow with nose number 103, a red fuselage band and "NAVY 103" on the fuselage. During the 1990s displayed at Tom Reilly's Flying Tigers Warbird Museum. Since the middle 2000, this aircraft is on loan to the Pacific Aviation Museum (Ford Island Museum) displayed indoors.
