Built by Mitsubishi. Assigned to the ? Kōkūtai.

Wartime History
During 1943 - 1945, this Zero fighter was part of a study led by Dr. Ukichiro Nakaya to solve a problem of ice adhering to the surfaces of airplanes in cold areas. During an experimental test mission, this Zero rashed on Mount Nisekoannupuri on Hokkaido.

Wreckage
On August 1990, a part of the Zero fighter was found at Mt. Nisekoannupuri.  More wreckage was discovered in late 2003, and reported in 2004 in a Niseko National Park, crashed during an experimental flight near the summit of the mountain.
