"The one photo of the engine and you can see that the ring that the cowling is attached to has a U shaped bend. This is to accomdate the MG barrel. On the M3 this ring is circular without the U shaped bend and the barrel goes underneath the ring. I am especially intrigued by the CG stencil, I only have seen Mitsubishi's version and I am pretty sure this is a Nakajima built model 21."
