Aircraft History
Built by Mitsubishi during late February 1942 at Nagoya.

Wartime History
Initially assigned to the 22nd Koku Sentai with painted stripe on the tail. Next, assigned to the Tainan Kokutai with tail marking V-179 and abandoned at Lae Airfield.

Recovered by Chuck Hagen of Minnesota and Randy Vining. This wreckage consisted of the tail and rear fuselage and were exported to the United States and placed into storage. Whereabouts today are unknown.
