Aircraft History
Built by Douglas Aircraft Company. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as A-20G-25-DO Havoc serial number 43-9399. Disassembled and shipped overseas to Australia and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 5th Air Force, 417th Bombardment Group, 675th Bombardment Squadron. Tail letter N. No known nickname or nose art.

Wartime History
On April 16, 1944 took off from Saidor Airfield piloted by 1st Lt. Duane Aamodt on a low level strike mission against Hollandia. Returning, the formation encountered a severe weather front. Landing at Saidor Airfield this aircraft impacted a B-25D Mitchell on the ground, clipping off five feet from the right wing. Both aircraft were later repaired.

Mission History
On November 1, 1944 took off on a mission against Halong Seaplane Base. Over the target, crashed killing both of the crew.

Memorials
The crew was officially declared dead on the day of the mission. Both are memorialized on the tablets of the missing at Manila American Cemetery.

Fraker also has a memorial marker at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Fulton County, NY. Also, Christopherson has a memorial marker at Silverton Lutheran Cemetery in Pennington County, MN.
