Built at Douglas. Delivered to the U. S. Army. Disassembled and shipped overseas to Australia and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 5th Air Force, 417th Bombardment Group, 675th Bombardment Squadron. Next, assigned to the 312th Bombardment Group, 389th Bombardment Squadron on March 20, 1944. Tail letter H. Assigned to pilot 1st Lt. Kenneth Hedges with crew chief Keller. Adorned with nose art "Queen of Spades" in cursive above a spade with a Varga girl figure. This aircraft flew at least 56 combat missions.

Mission History
On January 18, 1945 crashed at Los Negros, killing both crew members plus fourteen soldiers on the ground.
