On December 22, 1941 personnel transfer from Ft William McKinley to Lipa Airfield without aircraft. Meanwhile on December 24, 1941 the air echelon beings operating A-24 Dive Bombers from Brisbane in Australia. On December 25, 1941 departs for Cabcaben Airfield where they would serve as infantry.

91st Bombardment Squadron (91st BS)

Meanwhile on December 24, 1941 the air echelon beings operating A-24 Dive Bombers from Brisbane in Australia. On December 25, 1941 departs for Cabcaben Airfield where they would serve as infantry.
On February 20, 1942 seven A-24 Dive Bombers took off on a dive bombing mission against the Japanese landing force off Bali Island. Lost is A-24 Dive Bomber 41-15796 pilot 2nd Lt Douglas B. Tubb (MIA) and ditched is A-24 Dive Bomber 41-15760 pilot 2nd Richard H. Launder (survived).
