No. 9 Operational Group, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).

Wartime History
During 1942, No. 9 Operational Group was based in Port Moresby in New Guinea and was under the overall command of the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF), 5th Air Force (5th AF) under the command of General Kenney. No. 9 Operational Group included No. 4 Squadron, No. 6 Squadron, No. 75 Squadron, No. 77 Squadron, No. 22 Squadron, No. 30 Squadron, No. 100 Squadron and Air-Sea Rescue Flight.
