The exact wartime history of this tank is unknown. Captured by American forces.

Sent to Odgen AFB. Next, to Aberdeen Proving Ground. Then, to San Clementi Island where it was used on their target range. The vehicle suffered impacts all over the exterior of many differant calibers.

Restoration
Donation to the Nimitz Museum. Restored by volunteer Mike Maloney for the Nimitz Museum, begining in July 1986 over a four month period.

Displayed at the Nimitz Museum outdoor Pacific Combat Zone.
