This tank was one of two captured by the US Army 40th Division. [ Likely captured on Luzon ]. Brought back by the Division to California as 'war booty'.
Display
Displayed in California. Transfered to the George S. Patton Museum of Cavalry & Armor where it was externally restored and is displayed today. The 37mm main gun was salvaged by Warren Slessenger from Ponape in 1968 and was later donated to the Patton Museum for installation as its main gun.
