Wartime History
Stationed on Ponape and abandoned near Kolonia on the Eischarts / Adams Property.
Wreckage
Remained where it was abandoned. In 1995 the Adams
Brothers Corporation decided to cut the hillside level and the tanks were exposed and hauled out and put
in
a line.
Restoration
Under restoration by Stan Gajda.
Stan Gajda adds:
"No. 8 will be the basis of a complete restoration because it is the commander's tank - note the smoke grenade launchers on the turret."
