Shipwreck
Wreck rests on a flat, sandy bottom of the western bay of Muschu Island, off Wewak on February 13, 1944 by USAAF 5th Air at 3 20' S, 143 00' E
(or possibly at Aitape).

Shipwreck
A wreck in Muschu Bay is likely this wreck.

Justin Taylan dived in 2004 with John Douglas:
"It appears the ship might have been partially salvaged, large pieces are pulled away.  The large, center cargo hold is empty. The wreck has a lot of fish life and fan corals, very impressive dive.  All the inner compartments are easily accessible. According to villagers, the captain(?) sawm Muschu's nearby shore and was saved."
