July 31, 1943 then destroyed by Enterprise SBD's hit both sides and
the stern of the ship in February. A large explosion blew out the sides
of the ship and it sank immediately in Truk

Shipwreck
Has an old field artillery gun with wooden
wheels mounted on the deck, a makeshift effort to arm this
cargo vessel. Torpedoed from the stern and went down in 170 feet of
water. The compass on the bridge still functions.
The ship bell has been removed and is located
in the fishery building in downtown Moen. Inside the cabins below are
personal effects lying around.
Small side rooms contain the latrines,
china and radio equipment.
In the aft contain a few airplane propellers,
the rest are empty cargo holds.
