Ship History
Built by Nippon Suisan Kabushiki Kaisha in 1930

Wartime History
Used as a auxiliary provision storeship at Truk Lagoon. Damaged on April 4, 1944 when her engines were damaged by a near miss during a B-24 raid.

Sinking History
The ship was sunk on May 29. It went down near the Kiyosumi Maru, and was bouyed after the war, then lost.

Redisovery
One of the few ships missing in Truk Lagoon, it was rediscovered by Dan Bailey. The ship's bell is displayed at the Blue Lagoon Dive shop.
