Sinking History
On July 2, 1944 departed Singapore, escorting tanker Kokuyo Maru towards Manila. On July 7, 1944, torpedoed by USS MINGO (SS-261) , 150 miles west-southwest of Manila (13-55 N, 118-30 E). Blew up and sank with all hands, including Comdesdiv 32.
