Ship History
Also known as Sutsuki and Susuki this wreck was originally a Momi Class Destroyer.

Wartime History
Severely damaged in a collision then sent to Truk. It has a replacement bow that was installed after the collision.

Sinking History
Sunk on July 3, 1944 at Truk Lagoon by either aircraft or possibly a US submarine torpedo.

Shipwreck
The wreck is in shallow water, the bow only 10' deep and 30' at the stern. The ship is in bad condition due to the attack and resulting fire. It is rapidly deteriorating because its in shallow water. Rooms contain personal effects, bottles, small arms and other debris. There is a single large smoke stack and several gun platforms.
