Departs Truk on July 19 on a troop transport run with a task group: including Nisshin, cruisers TONE and CHIKUMA, light cruisers

and AGANO, destroyers Hatsuzuki, SUZUTSUKI, ARASHI, HAGIKAZE and ISOKAZE. On July 21 arrives at Rabaul and disembarks the troops.

Sinking History
Sunk on October 25, 1944 during the Battle of the Surigao Strait.
