Ship History
Launched as Sir Dudley De Chair and operated as a coastal steamer off Australia.

Wartime History
During December 1940, commissioned into Royal Australian Navy (RAN) service as auxiliary minesweeper HMAS Terka (TR). The forward mast was removed and a 12 pounder gun installed at the bow. Operated off the coast of Queensland, Northern Territory and New Guinea. Later, used as water carrier and store ship.

Sinking History
On March 26, 1945 while transporting water sank into Madang Harbor.
