The Wings Museum was established in 2003 by Daniel Hunt & Kevin Hunt. Origially known as East Surrey Aviation Group (ESAG) and was located at Hanger 9 at Redhill Aerodrome. Later, moved to the current location at Balcombe, West Sussex. The museum is located between Balcombe and Handcross villages, and only about 15 minutes by car from London Gatwick Airport.
The collection includes several aircraft wrecks salvaged from Russia including the Kurlie Islands and Siberia.
