Location
The Tank Corner Memorial is located near Tonu roughly eight kilometers from west of Konga on a curve in the road on Bougainville.

Josh McDade visited on September 17, 1999:
"The site appears to be a forgotten memorial, a small clear area on the curve or 'corner'. Looking on a reasonable map Tonu can usually be found be going SE from the two mountains of Mount Loloru and Mount Taraka. Mount Loloru has Lake Loloru on it. The jungle is starting to over grow this memorial. It has been described as interesting but disappointing."
