Also known as Chiran Kamikaze Museum, or Special Attack Peace Hall. Japanese name is Chiran Tokko Heiwa Kaikan. It is located across Kagoshima Bay, in Chiran.  Founded in 1975, the museum tells the stories and artifacts of kamikaze pilots who flew from Chiran and other bases. Each May 3rd, a ceremony for war dead is held at the museum.

From Fukuoka's Hakata Station, take the train to Nishi-Kagoshima Station (about 3 hours 45 min) Also Buses available in front of Nishi-Kagoshima Station depart for Chiran 80 min travel time directly to museum.
