December 26, 1942 - February 7, 1945

    Don Muang (Don Maung, Bangkok Airport)

Wartime airport. Occupied by the Japanese. Today, the airport is still in use as Bangkok's main airport. Occupied after the offical surrender in Japan, Allied forces entered the airport on September 3, 1945. 152nd Squadron RAF was one of the first to arrive, to service Spitfires transiting to Saigon.
