Location
Village located on the north-eastern coast of Guadalcanal, south-west of Cape Esperence. US Army 132nd Infantry Regiment landed at this location on February 1, 1943 and advanced to the north-east, to finally link up with other Army units at Tenaro on February 9, 1943.
