Lassul Bay
A 1920's German reef marker is present at this location. In a tragic series of events, two PT Boats were caught inside the enemy side of the demarkation line on New Britain and were attacked by friendly aircraft when discovered the next morning. In the end, both PT boats were sunk and 19 killed aboard them. Two aircraft shot down by defensive return fire from the PT Boats.
