Bil Bil (Bili Bili)

MapLat 5° 16' 60S Long 145° 46' 0E Costal village, south of Madang and Yabob along Astrolabe Bay.

Wartime History
Villagers talk of two Japanese guns and MG set up near their village which fired on Allied boats and aircraft. There used to be wrecks of several Japanese and American airplanes near the villages (types unknown) but they were removed in the late 1970s by an 'American Museum'.

There is the hulk of this Japanese truck that villagers reportedly used into the 1960's, when it finally broke down.
