Princesa
Lat
9° 43' 60N Long 118° 43' 60E Located roughly in the middle
of Palawan's east coast, on a sheltered bay of the same name. A
RCT of the 41st Division landed at Puerto Princesa on Feburary 28,
1945 and met no opposition on the beach, after heavy bombing by 5th
and 13th AF bombers.
