Location
Road connecting Baguio to Rosario spanning 41km with switchbacks and hairpin turns. Named "Kennon Road" in honor of Col Lyman Kennon, who led the construction of the road.

Construction
Built during 1903-1905 by the US Army Engineers led by Col Lyman Kennon. During the construction, 1,500 Japanese laborers aided in the construction and 500 died due to accidents and mishaps building the road.

Wartime History
During the 1945 liberation of Luzon, Japanese forces defended the road and established roadblocks to imped the US Army's advance up the road.
