Location The Calamian Island Group is located in the northeastern of Palawan Province in the Mimaropa Region (Southwestern Tagalog Region, Region IV-B) of the Philippines. Also known as the Calamian Island or Calamianes. The three main islands are Coron Island, Busuanga Island and Culion Island plus many smaller islands. Borders the Linapacan Strait, Mindoro Strait, South China Sea to the west and Sulu Sea to the east.
