Location
Lat 35°14′N Long 139°43′E Uraga 浦賀 is located in Kanagawa Prefecture on Honshū in Japan. Located on the south eastern side of the Miura Peninsula, at the northern end of the Uraga Channel (Uraga Kaikyo) and the entrance to Tokyo Bay near Tokyo. Today, Uraga is a subdivision of Yokosuka. Prewar, Uraga Dock Company was located at Uraga building warships for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN).
