Location
Located at Tama Reien , to the west of Tokyo. Prewar cemetery, several famous personalities from Japanese military history and World War II are memorialized here.

Admiral Togo
Hero of the Battle of Tsushima on June 5, 1905 during the Russo-Japanese war .

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto
Killed on April 18, 1943 as a passenger aboard G4M1 Betty 2656 over Bougainville. On June 5, Yamamoto received a state funeral in Tokyo. His ashes were buried at Tama Cemetery, and a portion given to his wife and buried at his family shrine at Nagaoka.

Admiral Mineichi Koga
Mineichi Koga was killed as a passenger aboard a seaplane that crashed April 1, 1944. His death was not announced until May 1944 and his ashes were buried at Tama Cemetery. His wife's grave is next to him.

Richard Sorge
Russian spy in Tokyo, arrested on on October 18, 1941 for spying and hanged on November 7, 1944. Acknowledge and awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union in 1964.
