Location
Nukuoro Atoll is a municipality in Ponape State in Federated States of Micronesia(Caroline Islands). To the south is Kapingamarangi (Greenwich). To the north is Oroluk Atoll and to the northeast is Ngatik Atoll. At the center is Nukuoro Lagoon with a total area of 40 km squared. The land area is only 1.7km square with more than 40 islands and islets on the northern, eastern and southern sides.
Nukuoro Island
Largest island in the atoll, the center of population and the capital of the municipality.
