Wangaratta was never used as a field during the war.
Air World (Closed)
The Air World collection featured some very historic
Pacific World War II aircraft. After closing many of these were
sold or relocated when the museum closed in in 2002.
Precision Aerospace / Pacific Fighters Museum
Since the closing of Air World at
the Wangaratta airport, Precision Aerospace (which was located
near Melbourne), has moved in with their projects. This place
is now known as Pacific Aircraft Museum.
