Location 52.1N, 176.1W  Part of the Aleutian Island Chain, about 25 miles northeast across the bay from Adak Island.

John Atkinson adds:
"I was uninhabited after WWII. I was stationed on that Island for ten months in 1954 or 55'. There were 12 of us maintaining fuel storage tanks on the slopes. I was the hospital corpsman on temporary assignment from Adak."
