Jean-Claude Tranape
Exploring Vanuatu & New Caledonia

Click For Enlargement I have been living in Vanuatu for 16 years.

Million Dollar Point
Photos by Jean-Claude Tranape in August 1989. Diving with his sons: Loic and Jérome. At the end of the war, the US forces dumped millions of dollars worth of surplus equipment into the sea at the end of the war. Located less than half a mile from the resting place of the President Coolidge.

SS President Coolidge
The ship is so large its impossible to photograph it all. Views include the starbord side of the ship, relics on the sea floor, abandoned equipment from post-war salvage divers & entering the wreck.
