These pictures were taken in by Jean-Claude Tranape in August 1989 of the SS President Coolidge wreck. He dove with his sons, Loic and Jérome. This photo was taken at Santo, Vanuatu. I was living Vanuatu at the end of 1989. I have been here for 16 years.

Million Dollar Point
At the end of the war, the US forces dumped millions of dollars worth of surplus equipment into the sea at the end of the war. Located less than half a mile from the resting place of the President Coolidge.

The ship is so large its impossible to photograph it all. Views include the starbord side of the ship, relics on the sea floor, abandoned equipment from post-war salvage divers & entering the wreck.
