Brian Beltz and I crossed paths in 1973,
I was in the Marine Corps, and he was in the Royal Australian
Navy. We were both young and foolish back then (now we're
both middle aged and foolish) He and another friend, Tom Sheley
are the two guys I usually go bumming with on these Pacific
expeditions. Tom is on my left and Brian is on my right, wearing
a T-shirt from his home town of Perth.
