Huebner joined the Third Battalion, Eleventh Marines, First Marine Division in Australia...later that whole battalion was detached from the First Marine Division and moved over to the Third Amphibious Corp. where it was called the Third 155 Howitzer Bn. But we still supported the FirMarDiv in its two subsiquent invasions: Peleliu and Okinawa
