Kavieng POW Captured This photo was taken at Kavieng (date unknown). Pictured is what appears to be an Australian POW. Phil Bradley adds: "I've identified the POWs in the photo. I wrote to the guy who was there and he rang me up and told me the story- he is in one of the photos with the Japanese officer. The other two guys who were with him were killed when the Montevideo Maru went down. He was an engineer in New Guinea before the war."
