Acquiring Photographs From Pacific Wrecks
Pacific Wrecks has been collecting and acquiring photos for over a decade. We are in an ongoing process of adding them to the database and sharing these photos.

Donating or Adding Photos
If you have related to photos to share, If you have photos of the same or related subject, please consider donating the photo to the database. All photos are credited to the source. Any inquiries related to your donated photo will go to your email address. Scan photos at 300 dpi (resolution) and save as JPEG file. Attach and send via email to: info@pacificwrecks.org

High Resolution Images
To seek information about a photo, send an email using the link on each photo page: "High Resolution Contact Us". Be sure to include the URL (web page address) of the photo you are enquiring for fastest routing.

If the photo belongs to an individual, your email will be direct to the donor's email address. You will hear from them about any terms for distribution of their high resolution image.

Public Domain Images
If the photo is taken by American armed forces (US Army, USAAF, US Navy, USMC), this image is in the public domain. You can acquire this photo for free by visiting that archive and copying it yourself. Pacific Wrecks has scanned this photo at a public archive.

Image Donation
If you would like Pacific Wrecks to email you our high resolution of a public domain image, make a financial donation to support the website. Suggested donation of $5 - 20 per image, or any amount. Your donation is tax deductable. These funds help to expand our database. Alternately, provide any related WWII Pacific photos to help expand the database.

Turn Around Time
Due to the volume of photo request, priority is first given to donors. High Resolution photos are sent via email as JPEG attachments and are usually sent out 1 - 7 days depending on volume of requests.
