History
Used by the 100th Independent Heavy Artillery Battalion during the battle of Okinawa. Emplaced in a cave near Shuri and Kadena Airfield. It is scared with bullets holes from the battle.

Recovery & Display
After the war, the gun was excavated from the cave it was emplaced inside, and exhibited at the US Military Museum on Okinawa.  The, it was displayed in at JSDF Naha.   Finally, was donated to Yasukuni Jinja Museum on April 9, 1993 as a monument to veterans of the Heavy Artillery Association.
