Also known as 'Sea Coast Gun'. This gun could mount a forward shield or enclosed turret. Used as secondary armament on larger capital ships, and on land as coastal batteries.

This weapon has a three-cylinder hydropspring recoil system above the barrel and a step-interrpted thread, hand operated breech mechanism. Fired electrically by the elevation operator.
